We got a mis-tinted can of very nice primer from a friend. Will it show through badly?

We have a brand new can of mis-tinted high-end primer I got from a friend (it was donated to a local Habitat Re-Store)...it's awful pepto-bismol pink!!! I should have known something was very wrong with it :( We plan on painting the room a pale robin's egg blue. Should we just throw out the primer (or save it for a later project-maybe something burgundy) and buy new...or is it still usable (maybe with extra coats of paint)?
by the way: this is being used on plaster walls. We just removed 50 year old wallpaper and it was hiding some stains that we cannot wash off. I've made the mistake before of paining over what I though was just a little stain...just to have it bleed through the new paint. I want to do this right...and in one try...not multiple re-dos.

put a little blue paint in the primer and it should be fine
